The Suncoast NewsHPH Hospice will hold its semi-annual Time for Remembrance services at 11 a.m., 2 and 6 p.m. on the grounds of Marliere Hospice Care Center, 6801 Rowan Road, New Port Richey. HPH chaplains and bereavement counselors will lead the free hour-long services, which include music, readings and a dove release. Adults, teens or children who would like to remember or honor a loved one who has died, even if it wasn’t under hospice care, are invited to attend. The Pasco Sheriff’s Mounted Posse is holding its 2013 Ride for Hospice Saturday and Sunday to benefit Gulfside Regional Hospice. The event will take place at Fair Haven Farms, 15212 S.R. 52, Land O’Lakes, and includes an overnight camping and bonfire the night before the main trail ride. The cost is $25 per adult rider, $15 for children ages 12 and under, with advance registration. Registration is at 8 a.m. on the day of the event and cost $30 per rider. The trail ride begins at 9:45 a.m. Registration for nonriders is at 9:30 a.m. and cost $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 to 12.
