Stanilou hit safely and drove in a run in three straight games. One of those hits came during Mitchell’s 5-1 loss to Dunedin but was the junior’s fourth home run of the season. Stanilou was also the winning pitcher in two of those contests, pitching a total of 17 innings over the three-game stretch.
The junior is 11-1 from the circle with a 0.70 ERA and 84 K’s over 70.1 innings pitched. Stanilou owns a batting average in the mid-.400’s and has hit four home runs, driven in 20 runs and hit a team-high 12 doubles.
