Scott became the first-ever Anclote wrestler to place at states last weekend, finishing in third place in the Class 1A 152-pound weight class.
The senior finished the year 50-7 overall and entered the tournament as Class 1A’s sixth-ranked wrestler at 152 pounds, according to Scout.com.
“It’s amazing how far how he has come. He was learning moves before he even knew what the name of the moves were. He’s got an incredible brain in the wrestling room” – Anclote coach Nick Radner on Scott’s rapid development.
