EAST LAKE -

Brad Deppermann

East Lake H.S.
Baseball/Junior

THIS WEEK’S FEATS:

Deppermann helped keep East Lake rolling by delivering six strong innings during Friday’s win over District 8A-8 foe Sarasota Riverview. The junior limited Rams hitters to just two hits and one earned run as East Lake prevailed 3-2 and improved to 7-0 (3-0) on the year.

DUAL THREAT:

Deppermann’s been making his presence felt from the mound and at the plate this season. He drove in both Eagles runs during a 2-0 win last week over rival PHU.

BIG TEST:

East Lake gets another opportunity to measure itself against one of the Tampa Bay area’s top teams on Thursday when the Eagles travel to perennial-power Jesuit High. Another win would add the Tigers to East Lake’s impressive resume of early season victims, along with Riverview and Seminole.
