David L. Gude has been appointed construction manager for the Tampa Division of William Ryan Homes, which builds in communities throughout the Tampa Bay area including Pasco and Polk counties.

According to Jeffrey D. Thorson, the Ryan Homes Tampa’s division president, Gude will be responsible for all planning, budget forecasting, staffing, trade relations and construction operations on the Suncoast. He will have complete control of the builder’s construction and warranty operations in the region.

A graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Gude has more than a decade of construction-related experience with large national builders in the area. He is a state-certified building and roofing contractor, among other certifications.

Gude also is a member of the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors.

William Ryan Homes builds in the following communities: Grand Hampton, in New Tampa; Ashton Oaks, in Wesley Chapel; Lago Del Rey, in Land O’Lakes; Deerfield Lakes, in northwestern Pasco County; and the Enclave at Ramble Creek, in Riverview.

Grow Financial will hold a community grand opening for its Wesley Chapel office from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19. In conjunction with the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce, The Tampa-based credit union will celebrate the opening of its 21st branch with food from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Dippin’ Dots ice cream and family friendly entertainment, including face painting, animal visits with Lowry Park Zoo and a live radio remote featuring Jayde from Hot 101.5. In addition, there will be a drawing for a weekend’s use of a 2013 MINI Cooper hardtop from MINI of Wesley Chapel and a two-night weekend golf and spa package at the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Club and Lodge, in Orlando. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the Grow Financial branch or MINI of Wesley Chapel.

In addition, Grow Financial will demonstrate the Interactive Teller Machine at its Wesley Chapel office, at 2579 Bruce B. Downs Blvd.
