Twin Palm Harbor mobile home park fires probed

Published:

Palm Harbor Fire Resuce is investigating two fires at a mobile home park early this morning.

Firefighters responding to a call at the Frontier Mobile Home Park, 30700 U.S. 19 N., found one unit fully engulfed in flames.

The residents, 55-year-old Animal Kidd and 53-year-old Marcus Devoto, safely exited the home with the help of neighbors and are being treated for smoke inhalation, firefighters say.

While battling that fire, rescue crews discovered a smaller fire at a vacant unit that was quickly extinguished.

It is unknown if either fire is suspicious, and an investigation is ongoing.
