Suspect sought in med theft outside PH pharmacy

A man who stole medications from a customer outside a Palm Harbor pharmacy is being sought by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

About 2:21 p.m. Tuesday, the suspect approached a woman leaving the Trust Pharmacy, 36515 U.S. 19 N., grabbed her by the throat, threw her to the ground and threatened her, the sheriff’s office said. He took her medications and fled on foot.

The suspect had been seen earlier pacing on the sidewalk.

The man is described as white, about 40 years old with white hair, the sheriff’s office said. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with white lettering, plaid shorts, tennis shoes, glasses and possibly a tattoo on one of his calves.
