Suspect sought in Dunedin bank robbery try

Pinellas County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help to located a man who attempted to rob a Dunedin bank this morning.

About 10:45 a.m., the man walked into the TD Bank, 28100 US 19 N., and handed a teller a note requesting money. After a few minutes, the suspect left on foot without any money. No one was injured during the incident, and no weapon was seen, detectives said..

The man is described as white, approximately 5 foot 11, 160 pounds and between 27-35 years old. He has dark hair and was last seen wearing a white ball cap with a “Super Bowl XXXIII” emblem on the front, a dark coat and a red Tampa Bay Buccaneers shirt.
