Local graduates Lindsey Kiskaddon of Tarpon Springs and Ethan Gotcher of Palm Harbor, both graduated from Clearwater Christian College in the spring commencement ceremony held on May 4.

Kiskaddon, daughter of Bruce and Arlene Kiskaddon of Tarpon Springs, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelorís degree in biology.

Gotcher, son of Billy and Rhonda Gotcher of Palm Harbor, received a bachelorís degree in exercise and sports science.

Scholarship awarded Alexandra Shafran of Palm Harbor, an interdisciplinary study major, was awarded the Helen Maxwell Drum Scholarship and Wesley Camp Scholarship from Ohio Christian University, Circleville, Ohio.

Students ministers in Haiti Austin MacLeod of Palm Harbor, a member of the Mission Team at Clearwater Christian College, was among a group of students and faculty who participated in a 10-day mission trip to Haiti. The groupís Haitian ministry included Bible lessons, vacation bible school, tutoring sessions and assistance with work projects and sports in association with an established ministry in the country.

MacLeod, son of Chris and Kelly MacLeod of Palm Harbor, is a sophomore global nursing ministry major.

Student named to Presidentís List Zachary Delasin of Palm Harbor was named to the presidentís list for the spring 2013 semester at Champlain College, Burlington, Vt.

To be named to the presidentís list, a student must be enrolled full time and achieve a grade point average of 4.0 for the semester.

Delasin, son of Craig and Mary Delasin of Palm Harbor, is majoring in international business.
