TARPON SPRINGS — Santa Claus is coming (back) to town. Again and again, actually.

The jolly one will be traveling throughout Tarpon Springs neighborhoods on Monday, Dec. 16, making up for streets he missed this past Tuesday. Inclement weather forced the tour to stop short of completion that evening.

The rescheduled route Monday will travel throughout communities west of U.S. 19, north of Klosterman Road, east of Disston Avenue and south of Lime Street.

Santa’s tours of the city are coordinated yearly by Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue. A fire truck with Santa on board leaves Station 69 at 444 S. Huey Ave. at 6 p.m. each tour date.

Monday’s extended trip will be the fifth of eight total this year. A full schedule of tours and which neighborhoods will be visited can be found by going to www.ctsfl.us/FireRescue/Santa.html.

In addition to the fire truck tours, Santa will pay a special visit to Station 69 from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19.
