Pinellas deputies seeking Palm Harbor bank robber

PALM HARBOR — Pinellas County sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Palm Harbor bank at gunpoint on Tuesday.

The man walked into the PNC Bank, 32491 U.S. Highway 19 North, at 1:41 p.m. armed with a semi-automatic handgun. He received an undisclosed amount of cash, then left the bank on foot and headed eastbound on Tampa Road.

The suspect is 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-6 to 6 feet tall and 160-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with a light-colored long-sleeved shirt and a blue Tampa Bay Rays baseball hat.
