TARPON SPRINGS — A pair of events will provide area residents with plenty of post-Thanksgiving options this holiday weekend.

The Tarpon Springs Merchants Association will present its latest Wine Walk 4–8 p.m. Saturday evening.

The purchase of a ticket gives walkers a souvenir wine glass to taste samples from over 25 associated shops along the scheduled route that runs from the Tarpon Tavern to Wine at the Docks.

Participants can start from either venue and travel the route at their own pace.

Some participating merchants will proveappetizers and offer special prize drawings or promotions.

Outside of Wine at the Docks, on Dodecanese Boulevard at the Sponge Docks, will be a live musical performance by father and son duo Joel and Dakota.

Wine Walk tickets, $20 in advance or $25 at the door, can be purchased at www.spongedocks.net.

Tarpon Tavern is at 21 N. Safford Ave.

Also starting on Saturday but sticking around until Monday is the Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Show.

Booths will be set up for the downtown Tarpon Springs event featuring different forms of artwork for viewing and sale. A number of Tarpon Avenue businesses will participate, as well.

The Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Show will operate from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday.

For more information on the shows call (727) 322-5217.
