Largo tree trimmers injured when ladder touches power lines

Two tree trimmers were shocked this afternoon in unincorporated Largo when their ladder struck power lines, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Both men were taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries isn’t known, the sheriff’s office said.

The men were moving a ladder when it struck power lines, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies responded to 1031 Tallowood Drive in unincorporated Largo.
