Allegiant flight makes emergency landing in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG — Authorities say an Allegiant Air flight made an emergency landing at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport after a flight attendant was injured during turbulence.

The flight was en route from Fort Lauderdale to Asheville, North Carolina, on Monday when a flight attendant suffered head injuries during the turbulence.

According to broadcast reports, four passengers were treated for minor injuries.

No further details were immediately available.
