Throngs line the streets for Chasco Fiesta parade

The biggest event in Pasco County didnít disappoint throngs of Chasco Fiesta fans who lined the streets of downtown New Port Richey for the 2013 street parade.

Leading the parade were Victoria Barley as Queen Chasco and Sandy Barley as King Pithla. They were crowned at the Chasco Coronation Ball on Friday night.

This is only the second time a married couple has been selected, organizers at Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind said.

Victoria Barley, who is a Realtor, was nominated by Youth & Family Alternatives and Senior RAP House Leadership Council. Sandy Barley, who is the Operations Manager at the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind, was nominated by Rotary Club of Trinity and Youth & Family Alternatives.

The royal coupleís float was among some 140 parade units snaking their way along Grand Boulevard, Circle Boulevard and Main Street.

At least an estimated 80,000 spectators watched the parade.
