NEW PORT RICHEY — Hundreds of guests turned out at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital for its 2013 Holiday Lights event.

Hospital President Hal Ziecheck greeted visitors at the campus on Madison Street. Ziecheck is planning to retire in early January.

Residents helped count down to the lighting of the Christmas tree. The Law Office of Doran and Beam donated the tree and decorations.

The Richey Elementary School Chorus performed holiday songs.

Horse-drawn wagon rides proved popular with visitors.

Youngsters took part in arts and crafts provided by the hospital and the New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department. Then came story time and a visit from Santa.
