Home builders have new West Pasco models in pipeline

The interest of builders in Pasco County is perking up along with the economy as two projects are underway at the Champions Club in the Trinity area and Serengeti in the Hudson area.

Emerald Homes plans to bring its portfolio of executive and estate residences to the Champions Club, according to Dan Aldridge, vice president of Adam Smith Enterprises, the community’s developer.

Emerald Homes intends to build floor plans ranging from 3,820 to 4,432 square feet of living space, priced from $800,000. It also plans to build a model home, which should open in the fall.

Texas-based Emerald Homes builds throughout the country.

Champions’ Club overlooks the 18-hole championship golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club, which opened in 1994. More than half of this community’s 368 homesites border the golf course, while many others overlook nearly 45 acres of lakes, or heavily wooded conservation areas.

The community features a Mediterranean-style clubhouse.

In the Hudson area Crestwood Homes, an independent franchise of Corial Homes, has started construction of Corial’s newest model home, the four-bedroom Palencia model, at Serengeti

The gated community of luxury homes on Hays Road north of S.R. 52, and three-quarters of a mile west of the Suncoast Parkway.

Ron Smith, president of Crestwood Homes, said in a press release the two-story Palencia offers four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths in 3,609 square feet of living space with a three-car garage.

Prices for the Palencia model will start from $395,600, including home site.

The Palencia model home at Serengeti will be ready for viewing in July.

In the meantime, a temporary sales office has been established within the Serengeti community that will be open weekends and during the week by appointment by calling (813) 920-2186.

The Corial Homes Serengeti collection of luxury designer homes includes eight distinctive floor plans that range in size from 2,120 square feet of living space to 4,214 square feet with three and four bedrooms and two and three-car garages.

Forty new Corial Homes will be built at Serengeti priced from $281,990 including home site.
