Holiday man accused of threatening to blow up Trinity doctor’s office

NEW PORT RICHEY — A man accused of threatening to blow up a local doctor’s office was being held in the Land O’ Lakes Jail on Monday.

William John Billotti, 69, of 5040 Spring Lane Drive, Holiday, was arrested Friday and charged with threatening to discharge a destructive device, sheriff’s records said.

Around 9:15 a.m., May 9, Billotti is accused of contacting Trinity Medical Associates at 2043 Little Road, and telling a nurse and doctor that he would shoot and kill all employees at the office and blow up the building, an arrest report said. Billotti said he would do the same to a Miami insurance company, the report said.

Billotti was being held at the Land O’ Lakes Jail on Monday with bail set at $10,000.
