Deputies: Woman arrested for cocaine use in Pasco jail bathroom

A Lutz woman caught injecting drugs while in a bathroom at the Land O’ Lakes Jail was arrested Tuesday and placed behind bars, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.

Stacy Renee Slabach, 33, 4946 Thames Place, was in a public restroom in the lobby of the Forensics/Property Evidence section of the jail when she was caught injecting cocaine in her arm, according to an arrest report.

Slabach had been arrested in November for driving with a suspended license. That arrest led to her car being impounded.

Slabach and her mother went to the jail to retrieve her mother’s prescription drugs left in the car, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.

While Slabach’s mother spoke to authorities, Slabach went to the bathroom, injected cocaine and was found passed out, deputies said.

Deputies found a syringe contaminated with blood, a crack pipe, a small amount of crack cocaine and less than 20 grams of marijuana.

Slabach is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains in the Land O’ Lakes Jail with a $5,450 bond.
