Trinity Medical Center has appointed Michael Wyers its chief financial officer. He replaces Alex Romanchik, who was promoted to division controller for the Hospital Corporation of America’s South Atlantic Division.

Prior to his appointment, Wyers was CFO for Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, and Englewood Community Hospital, both HCA Florida facilities.

Wyers, a graduate of Countryside High School, received an associate’s degree in business administration from St. Petersburg Junior College Clearwater Campus and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting in 1988.

The hospital also announced that its Obstetrics Unit now offers the services of Bonnie B. Boone, a registered nurse who is an internationally board-certified lactation consultant specializing in the clinical management of breastfeeding.

Access Health Care LLC, Spring Hill and Hudson, announced the relocation of the practice of physician Brandy Michelle Roose to 15120 County Line Road, Spring Hill.

Roose, who is board-certified in family practice, joined Access Health Care in August of 2011. She received a Master’s in Public Health Management and Policy in 2003 from the University of Florida and then enrolled in the College of Medicine at New York State American Branch, in Israel, where she focused on family medicine and earned her medical degree in 2007. Following that she began her residency at the University of South Alabama.

Manitowoc Foodservice, New Port Richey, was honored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy with 2013 Partner of the Year-Sustained Excellence award under the Energy Star Program. Manitowoc Foodservice was recognized for its continued leadership in having the most products qualified.

The winners were chosen from nearly 20,000 Energy Star partners nationwide, including manufacturers, retailers, public schools, hospitals, real estate companies, and home builders, for their long-term commitment to climate protection through greater energy efficiency.
