CLEARWATER — A retired Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was arrested Wednesday on charges he offered to share 12 videos of children in various sexual acts with other child pornography afficionados.

Randy Lee Rosenberry, 53, was charged with 12 counts of possession of child pornography. He was released from the Pinellas County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Investigators found Rosenberry was offering to share the minutes-long lewd videos on the Internet, executed a search warrant on his home and confiscated his computer, where they found the videos, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Rosenberry retired as a detention deputy in 2010. He had been with the agency for 25 years.
