NEW PORT RICHEY — A Trinity-area man faces charges that he obtained narcotics prescriptions from at least five doctors who were unaware he had visited and been given prescriptions from the others during the same time period, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Keith Charles Dyer, 32, of 7502 Mitchell Ranch Road, was arrested Tuesday on multiple charges of withholding information from a medical practitioner. He was taken to the Land O’ Lakes Jail where he was later released on $25,000 bail.

Dyer had repeatedly obtained prescriptions from the doctors since May 4, 2011, his arrest report said.

Dyer’s activities were discovered because of a law enforcement report from the Florida Prescription Drug Monitoring Program database, the report said.
