Authorities: SUV forced off road, into Seminole store

An SUV crashed into a convenience store Thursday morning after being forced off Seminole Boulevard by an unidentified vehicle, authorities said.

The sport utility vehicle, driven of Kelly Kupfer of Largo, was on Seminole Boulevard when it was forced off the road by a northbound vehicle, Seminole Fire Rescue said.

The SUV crashed into Tran’s Mini Mart, 5050 Seminole Blvd.

Kupfer refused medical care at the scene, firefighters said. No one was inside the store during the crash.

Building officials from the city of Seminole responded to the scene to assess structural damage, authorities said.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the crash.
